Your comparison is generally correct although I would like to point out not all bamboo fabric is created equal. The Spun Bamboo brand of bamboo shirts and other garments are all carefully knitted down, preshrunk and garment dyed. These procedures prevent virtually all shrink and make all our items very stable. We wanted our brand to be easy care and to be able to be treated the same as everything else come laundry time.
